Project LASER-CELL is a three-year European collaborative R&D project, funded by the Fuel Cell and Hydrogen Joint Undertaking.
Project LASER-CELL will develop high-volume production technologies that can be used to manufacture alkaline fuel cell components by exploiting innovative materials and laser processing methods. Comprehensive life-cycle and market analyses will also be undertaken.
Alkaline fuel cells convert hydrogen into electricity. They are one of the most efficient energy conversion technologies available today. This – together with their low cost – makes alkaline fuel cell technology very attractive for stationary power generation.
